Crafting Software Update: Version 2.2
Our developers have been working hard fixing bugs and adding new features that are now available in our crafting software version 2.2!
We've made the following updates to our desktop and tablet software:
Feature Enhancements:
- Print Then Cut: We improved the scanning success of our camera as it looks for the registration marks located near the page corners.
- Force Settings: We updated the default Force settings for many of our materials after completing another round of material testing.
- Speed and Force Settings: We added the ability to set Speed and Force settings for both tools in a multi-step operation like Draw Then Cut (see visual here).
- Text Editing: We added the ability to open the text editor by double-clicking on any text you’ve inserted onto the canvas (see video demo)
- Design Placement: We added the ability to use arrow keys to move objects on the canvas (desktop software only).
- Crafting Materials: We added several matless materials to our growing list of materials you can use with Momento.
- Basic Shapes: When you insert a basic shape onto the canvas the default size is now set to 3 inches.
- Help and How-to: In the Help menu, which is accessible in the top navigation panel, we added a link to our growing library of Help and How-to content so you can easily become a Momento Pro!
Bugs We Fixed:
- LCD Screen Red Lines: When you save a project to Momento Favorites using the LCD screen, sometimes red lines would appear across the screen.
- Translations: We found a few places where we missed a translation for French or Spanish.
- Design Placement: In some cases, a design placed outside the edge of the canvas would not prompt a warning.
You can download the latest version from our Crafting Software Page.
To verify which version you’re using, within the application click on “App Settings,” then “About” and you’ll see the Current Version number.
